Something That Bears Repeating

I know I've said this before but I just have to say it again. Whenever Keith is off for a few days or even a week, everything seems so calm on the internet. It's just amazing how much trouble this dude can stir up.

His various fan groups, such as they are, all seem to think that they are his own special appointed group that *he* loves best. So as a result, each camp hates the other with a passion and are constantly blaming one another for every thing that goes wrong in their little worlds, be it a board outage or drops in their group membership, etc., either true or just perceived. In other words, they're as freaking crazy as he is. But they're very entertaining to watch in all their glorious technicolor paranoia, hatred, bile, and venom and oh yes, craziness.

Hmm, that's very interesting.

I'm not a member of any of those forums. You sound like you may be describing the daily thread at the Daily Kos. I noticed City Lights Lover's diaries are less well attended than they used to be, and the rec's are way down.

Olbermann Watch dropped off as soon as the site owner required registration. That is a horrible place. They are right now being absolutely vicious about Keith's mother's death. It's disgusting.

The Television Without Pity forum on Keith is pretty good. Not lots of regularly posting members, but more than enough to keep it interesting. Pretty even divide between pro and anti Keith, but everyone gets along well, and is polite. I am a member of that one, and I recommend that if you want to stay away from either of the two extremes.

Not trying to steer anyone away from you, flowergirl, just suggesting more places to explore.

Think nothing of it Marinara. If there are better sites out there for people to go to then they should.
