Totally Off Topic

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVZX-W3vo9I

This has surprised me. Kanye West is somewhat controversial but this song is great. Although the video is a little risque it's still good.

It wouldn't let me put the video up so I just provided the link.

THE Girlfriend

Oh, I keep forgetting. Keith doesn't have a girlfriend. He has an object. And she is almost always referred to as THE girlfriend. Niiiiiice.
Let me see if I can get this straight. THE girlfriend has to work Thanksgiving so they are going out to eat. So he has no family? She has to work so he's not going to go to his family for Thanksgiving???????? Oh, that's just sad.
So Keith sacrifices his family for her. How romantic.

She cooked last year. I wonder what it was she cooked. Did she cook and then take it over to his family's place?
This is very curious.

You gotta love this guy. He's the epitome of what not to do in life. If you ever feel your life sucks, just take a listen to Keith from time to time and you would think your life is grand.

Ward Cleaver He Is Not

More like Ward Cleavage. With all these visits to older women's forums one has to wonder what exactly Keith is trying to sell.
He can't say one week that he has to remember to be nice and then turn around and sell himself as Mr. Homemaker. It doesn't work that way.
If he's trying to convince people that he's in love it won't wash either. He's had two years to do that and failed miserably. What makes you think that all of a sudden he's been domesticated?
I'm sure there are people out there that will buy this kind of nonsense, and that's okay. I mean, Bill O'Reilly sells snake oil all the time and has a huge following. One bigger than Keith's.

But I'll have to say that if Keith continues to feed the public his deliciously rich morsels of stupidity then I may never shut down my site. It's just too damn good.

So thank you Keith for giving us more reasons to call you an idiot.

Peaceful

Have you ever noticed that when Keith is on vacation everything settles down for the most part?
There's not much tension, anger and frustration.
That should tell you something right there.

I don't watch Countdown that much anymore. It's become ridiculous and mundane. In fact, it's like watching reruns all the time.

I noticed that the ratings have gone back down as well. BillO still holds the lead. I guess that Keith's appearance on The View didn't give him a bounce. It could be that a lot of women didn't find him worth checking out.
Not to mention the fact that most people watched the end of the Tennessee game and then 60 minutes instead FNiA Sunday. I know I did.
Obama takes precedent over Keith. And peace takes over the internet when Keith is gone.
So it's a win win situation this week.

So Keith Doesn't Vote. Big Deal. Part 2

I Constantly Reconsider It (128+ / 0-)

But I've analogized it here many times to my days in sports.
When I found myself personally invested in the athletes I covered - had a meal with some, professionally friendly, that sort of stuff - there was actually a drag on my willingness to criticize them on the air.
Not good.
And I felt it again last spring (ironically enough) about criticizing Senator Clinton (yes, I know her supporters will spit soup over this). But you may recall I was accused, as late as January, of being "in the tank for Hillary," and even that slightest personal connection provided by the Clintons' support of The Special Comments made me hesitate or delay my criticism.
I think that voting for a candidate would create the same investment for me. I doubt anybody else would feel that way, but that's my standard.
And yes, if circumstances demanded that I had to walk on the edge of the cliff, and vote, I would do so.

I don't really care if Keith votes or not. There are a lot of people that don't. But his reasoning behind it is lame. It's as if he thinks that if he votes for a candidate then he's automatically their friend. And they should go out to dinner together. Or he should be invited to their parties.
That's just plain ridiculous. Who the hell does he think he is?
I think it's funny that he keeps explaining this in this manner. Sports and politics are two different things. Nobody said you had to rub elbows with a politician just because you voted for them.
If anything, it would give him more reason and a better position to go after them if they screw up. Nobody has to know whether you voted for them or not.
God, what a dumbass.

Straight From The Horse's Mouth

Keith really should stop doing interviews, seriously.

"People automatically like her," he says. "She's very nice, aggressively nice. I'm nice when I take the time to remember to be nice. Sometimes the door opens and I throw a punch."

If you have to take the time to remember to be nice then you're not a nice person.

Oh, and Keith said he works out three times a week. Really? When did he start? Yesterday? Or is it food related work outs? He's still fat.
But his weight isn't what makes me queasy about him. It's his attitude towards others. He could be the most goodlooking guy in the world but if his attitude doesn't match his looks then it makes him ugly. Hence the fact that he can't "remember" to be nice. And if you think he's joking think again. This isn't the first time he's stated that he's not a nice person.
I don't care if he's a "voice" to the people who needs that voice, his attitude goes against everything that Obama stands for.
And the fact that he renegotiates his contract in a time where millions of Americans are suffering. Do you think he cares? Hell no he doesn't. Just as long as he can feed his big fat head, you don't matter. But he'll make you think that he does.

Actions speak louder than words Keith. Stop all your gibberjabbing and spend that money on helping those who need it more than you do.

Cry Me A River

I almost laughed at this drama but I have to agree with the content. However, Keith is the last person to be speaking on behalf of love.
And forgive me but "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is something he can say but not understand. If he truly understood those words and took them to heart, the way he actually says it, then he would have to apologize to every person he has belittled, betrayed and cheated in the past several years.
He is the most unreliable spokesperson for justice. You can't tell me that suddenly he's become this wonderful person who has turned his life around and has repented, especially when in the same breath he goes straight to bashing BillO..or anybody else that isn't himself.
This so called special comment sounded more like he was crying more for his own love life than for those to whom he was commenting on.
It was absolutely horrible.

So Keith Doesn't Vote. Big Deal.

If ever I saw a fake approach to being interviewed it was on The View. He looked like an idiot and told at least one lie that I know of. A question was asked about how people were saying he was angry and malcontent and his reply was that there was a lot of anger over the past two years, and that he saw a story that nobody was talking about so he thought he would do it. (Hence the beginning of the "special comments".) You'll have to watch the video to get the full context.

Um, Keith has been angry for a very long time. Just because the country was angry for the past two years doesn't mean there hasn't been people out there, before then, talking about how angry he's always been.

He likes to think that his career started two years ago, and in a sense maybe it did, but Keith has had opposition for a very long time.

Hell, when he first started Countdown I could see the anger in him. He was an asshole then and he still is. Actually, even more so now because he thinks he's the king of cable "news".

If I was him I wouldn't be tooting my horn too loudly. I've said it before and I'll say it again, 2 million viewers out of 300 million people in this country doesn't even make a percentage.
It doesn't warrant an uppity attitude and an holier than thou approach to his so called standings in the media.

After the skit on SNL his ratings didn't really go up that much. Do you think he's going to have a huge bounce with his visit on The View? I don't. I think some people will check it out long enough to see how incredibly obsessed he is with bashing people and will turn it off. He's kind of like the Don Rickles of news but not as funny.

It's been seen that when Keith gets bigger money and bigger exposure he becomes more of a dickhead. And usually when that happens with anybody they wind up slitting their own throats.
Keith has more scar tissue than anyone can keep up with. So he might want to keep that blade handy.

Watched Countdown Last Night

When Keith tossed to Rachel last night, this is what I saw. Has he been getting botox injections? He has no wrinkles. Fighting old age can't stop the inevitable. And Keith really shouldn't be so vain. He's not that goodlooking.

Change Is Good

This is a great time for America. I can't be more proud than what I am now. Not only will we have change in this country, but there will be some changes to this site.

Some very wonderful and unexpected changes have taken place in my life in the past several days, so this could be the beginning of the end.
I will keep you posted.

Oh Bull!

I don't believe this for one minute.
Keith's ego is way too sensitive for me to believe that he laughed at that skit. I think it hurt his feelings. I think he's just trying to cover it up. Which really is a good thing. It would just be worse for him if he showed his hurt over it.

In no way shape or form was that skit flattering. It was very demeaning and made you never want to see this guy in person. Ever.
But trainwrecks are trainwrecks. People love to watch disasters play out. Why, I don't know, but that's just human nature, I guess. So this could boost his ratings. People will want to watch why he's so insecure.
Maybe that's why they watch BillO. They know he's going to crash eventually and are just waiting for it to happen so they can say they witnessed it.
Funny thing, though, is that if you look at this on a grand scale, neither Keith nor BillO will get nearly as many viewers as SNL. And I suspect not many people knew who the hell Ben Affleck was portraying.
