The Wal Mart story
I have just one question. Does this girl buy her own clothes?

Mouthful
My goodness. ;-/
Countdown was okay tonight. In bits and pieces.
The ratings slug fest has really got to stop though. It's extremely juvenile. I'm surprised Keith doesn't stick his thumbs in his ears waving his fingers going "Nanny nanny boo boo" at the end of his spiel.
You know, when I was a kid I use to think adults were these people with all the knowledge and foresight and maturity that could only make your upbringing a good thing, so I have to ask, did Keith's parents really intend for him to grow up to be such an immature, irresponsible, egotistical, rude, hateful, attention seeking, slut searching idiot? I seriously doubt it.
But he's just a wonderful guy, isn't he? If you really want to get immature about it, though, Keith started it. All.
Keith is the last person to be telling someone they need to see a shrink. First off, what that woman said about Obama needing to put some meat on his bones was not shrink worthy. Stupid, yes. Secondly, if everybody who said incredibly stupid things needed to see a shrink then we would all have to line up behind Keith, BillO, Bush, Cheney, Limbaugh, Ingraham, etc.
Granted Obama is a thin guy but it's really really stupid to NOT vote for him just because he's thin. And anybody who bases their vote on such a lame reason doesn't need to be voting. Stupid people shouldn't vote. But it's not necessary to go to a shrink.
Also, Keith said you can tell a man by his friends. Well, that was a mouthful, wasn't it? Keith has no friends. What does that tell you?
Aside from those few stupid things I rather enjoyed seeing Craig Crawford again. He cracked me up tonight. I never knew he had such a good sense of humor.

Thank God For Derrick Pitts
I muted the majority of Countdown last night. Sometimes I just get really tired of listening to all the Obama love and the McCain hate. If it wasn't for the politics and BillO Keith wouldn't have anything to talk about.
I've gotten to the point where I won't even listen to his guests anymore, with the exception of those who aren't on there very much. Like Derrick Pitts. Keith actually did something right with this guy.
It was also nice to see Craig Crawford. Haven't seen him in a long time. Though he gets on my nerves a little bit with the way he talks but I kind of like him.
Don't get me wrong, Countdown is a good show. It's the host that makes it hard to stomach at times. Keith is becoming more and more physically unattractive. If he keeps gaining weight he's just going to be downright ugly. But then, that would work more to his advantage considering his attitude is already ugly.
I just get the feeling that, eventually, Keith is going to piss off the wrong person and he's not going to get out of it scar free.

The Grand Delusion
It doesn't bother me that much that Keith bashes BillO, but I'm not so sure Keith can see that those two are just alike. However, Keith is much more obsessed with BillO than BillO is with Keith.
If 250 million Americans don't know who the hell BillO is then that means 251 don't know who the hell Keith is. Which means, their ratings don't even account for a decent percentage of the population.
They both have an ego the size of the population but it's not warranted. They have no reason to be so arrogant and egotistical, but yet they are. Why do you suppose that "news" people are so high on themselves, especially when the majority of the population don't give a damn about cable news?
And though it was nice to hear Keith give a shout out to Southern Californians because of the earthquake, it's guaranteed that 90% of those people didn't even hear it.
He did that for his own purpose because he has this delusion that he's much bigger than what he really is.
The majority of his viewers are east of the Mississippi so just about anything he says about California is pretty much a waste of air.
It's all for himself just as what BillO does or says is all for himself.
And on a different subject. One of the reasons I don't like bonehead is because she's a disgrace to the female gender. Decent women who work their asses off just to get ahead would never stoop as low as this child has. Or any of the females that use sex to get what they want.
It's because of them that women's rights will never be taken seriously.
Keith is delusional to think that the world revolves around him and bonehead is delusional to think that Keith is going to let her rise above him in any field of endeavors.

I Remember
With all this talk about Keith possibly cheating on bonehead while he was in L.A., it made me remember a story that Monica Novotny had done once when she was on Countdown.
The story was about this GPS device for people who suspect their SO is cheating on them. After she finished her story Keith told her that he would never get caught. Monica told him that he would but he argued with her that he wouldn't. This back and forth went on for a short time.
Of course he was being mighty smug about it. I didn't think it was funny at all. I still don't. In fact, I thought, how pathetic are you to think that YOU would never get caught, AND that it says a great deal about what kind of person you are.
This told me that Keith thinks he can get away with anything...including cheating. And I don't believe for one minute that he's changed his point of view on this.

Server Problems
I've been having server problems for a few days. Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon.

Just A Reminder
I thought I would post this just as a reminder that Keith isn't all that he claims to be.
Guerrero is shrewd enough to know that her looks have enhanced her TV career, yet seemingly naïve in believing that posing in scanties or low-cut halters won't damage the journalistic credentials she proudly describes. Keith Olbermann, whose time at FSN overlapped with Guerrero's, suggested that the ''Monday Night'' announcers Al Michaels and John Madden ''resign in protest'' and that Guerrero ''can pose in Maxim but can't come back into the credibility pool.''
Guerrero declined to comment on Olbermann's criticism.
Fred Gaudelli, producer of ''Monday Night,'' said: ''Keith Olbermann's history speaks for itself. Any opinion rendered by him is the opinion of a troubled man.''

The Soup and The Search For Elle Woods
Keith's appearance on the Soup tonight was actually pretty good. It made me chuckle. Okay, I'll give him kudos for that.

Perfect Keith
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
when you're perfect in every way.
I can't wait to look in the mirror
cause I get better looking each day.
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man.
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
but I'm doing the best that I can.
I used to have a girlfriend
but she just couldn't compete
with all of these love starved women
who keep clamoring at my feet.
Well I prob'ly could find me another
but I guess they're all in awe of me.
Who cares, I never get lonesome
cause I treasure my own company.
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
when you're perfect in every way,
I can't wait to look in the mirror
cause I get better looking each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man.
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
but I'm doing the best that I can.
I guess you could say I'm a loner,
a cowboy outlaw tough and proud.
I could have lots of friends if I want to
but then I wouldn't stand out from the crowd.
Some folks say that I'm egotistical.
Hell, I don't even know what that means.
I guess it has something to do with
the way that I fill out my skin tight blue jeans.

I'm Shocked, I Tell You. Shocked.
Keith doesn't have a shy bone in his body. He's just an asshole. What a surprise, huh?

"Truck jumps the curb and rams into pedestrians"
This is a girl who can tell you that it's "exciting" watching a crane kill people and smile while saying it. However, she's not a happy camper in the one above.
Do you think it could be because Keith is living it up in L.A. and she was left behind?
Something tells me that not all is well in this so called "she's the only person I can stand being around" relationship.

Keith In A Box
A pre-recorded box at that. Did he look extremely stiff or what? And his makeup looked horrible. Poor guy. They didn't let him shower before he slipped into something uncomfortable.
That was just awful. Countdown would've been much better had Keith not even done it tonight.
I'm sure he probably wanted to make an appearance but the first half hour seemed very unprepared.
Once Rachel took over it was smooth sailing. I'm starting to really like her. Of course, I turned away when Michael Musto came on. His head is too big for his body. Yuk.

Making A Bet
I would love to make a bet with Keith. I would bet him that he couldn't go through a whole week without poking at anything or anybody associated with FOX. If he could do that then I would turn this site into a love fest for him.

Living In The Past
That was the caption for last night's brief story about McCain forgetting that Czechoslovakia doesn't exist anymore. I thought that was kind of funny considering that Keith lives in the past almost every day. Of course, I can't really say that he was the one who put that caption up there but it makes for a good story. ;
Obviously, I'm not a McCain supporter, but it does get a bit old listening to the bashing over and over again. I mute the t.v. quite often. If the caption looks good then I'll listen to it.
But living in the past is something that Keith rides on all the time. He got fired from FOX, and yes, they suck, but Keith constantly puts them down. Get over it, right? He's not gonna do that.
He also has this strange hateness for Laura Ingraham. Whom he can't seem to get enough of. Living in the past.
The more he works with Dan Patrick the more he remains in the past. Just read the majority of the comments of those who thinks it's wonderful those two are getting to work on television together again.
I say this because, yes, Keith is a hypocrite. He can dish it out but nobody is allowed to throw it back. And if they do throw it back he acts as if it hurts his feelings. Well, boohoo!
The Tony Snow situation is unfortunate but it's a minor incident in a long line of flame throwing that Keith started. It's one thing to stand up to the bullies and be a hero, but it's a whole other ballgame when you become the bully.
It frustrates me that Keith can't see it. Or won't see it. He covers his ears and closes his eyes to the fact that the bullies are fighting back to his bullying.
So Keith will live in the past as long as he thinks it's fun to bully.

The Sounds of Countdown Tonight
Blah blah blah blah me me me me I I I me me. Blah blah blah me me I I. Blah blah oddball blah blah me me.
Blah blah blah Jib Jab blah blah me me I I.
Me me me me me me I I I I I me me.
Welcome back me and I. Are you sure there isn't another ballgame you could attend for several more days?
One note that I must address. I agree that Rupurt Murdoch and his "friends" are sick, BUT so is Keith. I guess it really does take one to know one.
And nothing says mourning like going to a fun game of baseball.

Bravo Rachel
She will surely be missed. Countdown was so much better and more peaceful without Keith. Of course I still muted the boring parts, but the parts I did listen to were excellent. And her sense of humor surpasses Keith's by a long shot.
Great job.
Oh, and I did not miss Worst Persons In The World at all.
Are there just no more ballgames for him to attend?

Sorry Commenter
I accidentally deleted your comment but I will try to answer your questions.
It doesn't take somebody to "know" Keith to know Keith. He makes himself well known. That being said, the road he's travelling is one I find hard to swallow.
I've been watching Countdown since day one and I found Keith to be the only one who seemed unbiased and straight forward. I loved his snarkiness, or rather his asshole approach to things. And he gave me the news. But somewhere along the line he turned into a cad.
This goes along with the poll question I posted. Now, I don't believe in the majority vote that says he lies ALL the time, but I do believe he lies sometimes.
I care because I feel Keith sold himself to the highest bidder. He was once a great journalist. He still is a damn good writer but at what cost? Money and ratings seems to be his main agenda and it saddens me that he sold himself short.
He took up with a child at a very suspicious time and made it very very public. He then starts posting and commenting on a very biased, and rather cruel, site.
Keith has taken away from himself something good and turned himself into something bad.
This frustrates me because I feel duped and betrayed by the only unbiased journalist that isn't that way anymore.
And I know I'm not the only one who feels that way. A lot of people are coming out slowly about his sudden ego trip and how he's turning them off and away.
One commenter said that she loves him but he pisses her off a lot. I can understand that.

Moral Police
Too bad this statement will last only as long as it needs to be.
Tony Snow's Death: Olbermann Statement
Statement from MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann:
Tony Snow was an optimistic, funny, and courageous man who could set aside his politics and inspire others to do the same. It might surprise many at all political points, but while we could not have disagreed more on policy, we were in frequent contact, even during his days as Press Secretary, even as I was criticizing his work and he was — in his own words — yelling at the screen as he watched. It was with great sadness that I heard of his death today, and with sincerity I extend my condolences and my staff's to his family. In the best of us, there is a difference between the message and the messenger, and Tony Snow epitomized that.
It's terrible that all the good guys keep getting taken and the not so good ones are living it up without regards to others.
Though Keith's statement was with sincerity I just feel it means almost nothing to him. Though I believe Keith feels a sadness towards this loss I also believe that it won't last long.
I'm sure he'll say something about it Monday on Countdown, and I'm sure it will be well given and well received, but Keith is one of the coldest people out there, which means his amoral behavior won't allow something of this nature to change him.
The love and admiration he has/had for Tim Russert didn't change the way he perceives human beings. His hatred for others goes beyond anything that the moral police can fix.
In other words. Keith can see the goodness in some people, and say the right things at the right times, but it won't make him a better person. And I will never see him as a good person, regardless of his sincere statements, as long as he continues to travel the road he's on.
