No Hollerin'

Ah, the "special comment" couldn't be brief. When he first started talking I thought, "Hmm, that sounds eerily familiar". I think you get my drift, but just in case you don't, Keith bashed every Republican he could manage to bash.
And then it started to sound more like, "Obama beware of false prophets". But as the end drew near it got better.
Not Keith's best but it wasn't too bad. At least he didn't holler. And that speaks volumes. Maybe now his pets are happy.

Countdown was okay. Best Persons was interesting again. But Worst Persons is so predictable I just don't even listen to it anymore.

On a different note. Some advice for bonehead.
If you want to be taken seriously then go back to school. This time take some journalism classes. And throw in many hours of acting lessons.
Stop dancing while reporting, especially when reporting a murder. And watch those bouncing forward movements. It looks very childish and stupid. And very very very amateurish.
I figured by now you would be better, but you're not.
Stop wearing atrocious clothing. That ugly ass white shirt and pukey colored skirt looked like you were going to apply for a job at FOX. You know? The kind of clothes that's bought at a yard sale and makes you look like you're ready to become a hooker?
You know as well as I do that Keith doesn't think you're good at this. If he says you are then he's lying.
But then you could do everybody a favor and quit while you're behind.
You suck at on air reporting. And it's not just because I find you repulsive, as far as morals are concerned, it's that you just simply do not have any qualifications to be doing what you're doing, AND have shown absolutely no improvement whatsoever.
I give this six more months.

Something Old, But Still Worth Bringing Up

Never let it fade away. If you scroll down a little bit you'll find another interesting link.

I bring this up because I don't want anybody to forget what kind of person Keith really is. When he said this piece on Thursday it made me sick and took me right back to what he did, and it makes this statement very very hard to swallow(no pun intended).

OLBERMANN: I‘m still back in documentary short subject. If the Screen Actors Guild authorizes this reported strike, we might start to see more of these videos. Could that turn into something of a commodity and suppress the market value of something like the exquisite and beautiful expression of the human love act here?

Since when does Keith find love making an exquisite and beautiful expression? He's used and abused women probably all his life. I don't think he's misogynistic, but I do believe he's a chauvinist and feels a woman's place is in the home.
If you'll notice most of his guests are guys who he seems to have an unusual attraction for. I'm not saying he's a closet gay, but it's rather odd that he can't communicate well with women.

Chris Matthews has a lot more female guests on his show. A lot of very intelligent and grounded women. So you can't tell me that Keith can't find that many women to interview.

Pick-me-up Bouquet

The bouquet, of course, being the DailyKos and the pick-me-up being all his pets. Do you really believe that Keith didn't post for two weeks because he was grieving? If you do then I have a bridge..blahblahblah.
Keith doesn't grieve for very long. It's not in his nature. But it is in his nature to speak of himself in the third person? WTF?

Sometimes I feel sorry for him because he's so transparent and incredibly stupid, but then, I get over it. Everybody started hatin' on him so he had to go somewhere to get love. You know? The kind he doesn't get at home? And what better place than the kennel of love?
I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but when there are those who are clearly being duped in order to fulfill his needs, and they don't see it, I find that disturbing.
Keith will use whatever means, and whoever he can find, to make himself look good. But whatever you do don't turn your back on him.

When he said he was gonna do a "brief" special comment, I laughed. Since when does Keith do "brief" special comments? Never. He's only doing this to scratch their itch just enough to keep them where he wants them. If he truly cared about how they feel then his "special comment" would be more than BRIEF.

Personally, I like the fact that he spends that much time on the computer. And at work. And at ballgames. This says everything you need to know about his "love" life. It's nonexistent. And if you think it isn't then you're living in a dream world.
Keith's love is for himself only. And he knows it. That's what makes him such a great manipulator.

Man Cleavage

I bet Keith has cleavage. If he doesn't then it's damn close and it won't be long before he does. He's just ballooning. But, you know, if Keith doesn't care about his weight gain then why should anybody else.

Didn't he say that BillO was back in Worst Persons again? Did he ever leave? If those are the only kinds of worst persons he can come up with then I'll take my chances with them. There are far worse than that in this world. And if he thinks they ARE the worst then he's certainly not thinking clearly.

Oddball was good. Best persons was interesting. And the man cleavage cracked me up. The rest of the show kinda sucked.
So...those who missed Michael Musto please raise your hand.

A Beautiful Date

Okay, let's face it, Keith is looking for a beautiful date. Probably someone who isn't afraid of having her picture taken with him at events. And someone who is qualified to do the job she is doing or wants to do.
Never tell another "news person", and I use those words lightly, that they are not qualified to do a job when you, yourself, get your unqualified girlfriend a job she sucks at more than that one you just belittled.
It baffles me how he can actually say these things without batting a beady eye. But then, that's where the "real" "not real" person comes in. He's just not being realistic.

And how about the way Christian Finnegan didn't answer that question about the beautiful date? The guy is funny. I like him. And I think he knows exactly what Keith is up to.

Well, aside from the ignorant question at the end there, Countdown was relatively good tonight. Oddball was chuckle worthy. So not a total loss.

Thank You

I would like to thank all of those who participated in the poll questions. I too believe he isn't real. But I believe he isn't real most of the time.
However,
He's real when he writes his "special comments". Not real when he performs them.
He's real when he speaks highly of Obama. Not real when he claims he's not biased.
He's real when he says he's happy. Not real when he says it has something to do with bonehead.
If he is so happy with her then why did he choose his job over her? This will lead to another poll question. But it won't be about his job.

I chose that he was funny sometimes. Last night was not funny. But I think he was on drugs.

Anyway, I would also like to thank bob for boosting MY ratings.hehe. I didn't ask for it but it is a free country.

Much Better

Well, tonight's show was definitely better than last night's. Keith wasn't high on drugs tonight.
I did enjoy the interview, if that's what you'd call it, with Justin Bateman and that other guy who decided to jump in. I think what I liked most about it was that Keith was soooooooo out of his league.
Oh, he so desperately wants to be an actor. Or sleep with one. But then, what's the difference?

BillO is stupid. Oddball wasn't as good as it was last night but it was still good. And we're getting a lot of doses of Jonathan Turley.

Much better.

Oh My, That Was Just Hilarious

I watched very little of Countdown tonight, mostly because I just couldn't stomach those godawful glasses. Keith may want to try to look like Clark Kent but Superman he is not. I use to think he was, but then he turned into Lex Luthor.
The way he looked and sounded tonight made it very difficult for me to take him serious. Even the death of George Carlin seemed like a joke to him. Whatever happened to his so called compassion? I saw nothing resembling that at all tonight.
The stories were good stories but I just couldn't watch them. All he could do was joke around about serious stuff.
Yeah, that was funny, wasn't it Keith? If you thought that was funny you should watch the joke where Bush makes fun of not being able to find WMD's in Iraq. That just cracks me up every time.

I don't know what kind of drugs he was on tonight but he needs to stop taking them, especially if he's going to do serious news.
Countdown would've been good tonight had the host not been such a fucking joke. Booooo!!!

Feeling A Bit Inadequate?

I swear Keith kept saying that those creepy people used Tim Russert's death to bash him and Chris Matthews again. From the way he made it sound it was as if it was something new that we hadn't heard yet.
Well, aside from the fact that he repeated himself tonight the only thing that was new was all about him. Go figure.
I really don't give a flying flip if Keith has RLS or if he did or didn't take some kind of medication that effects the only member of his family that can't move. Which sort of surprised me that he didn't just come right out and say his sex life was great. Hence the title of this post.

I'm starting to think that maybe there might be some truth behind those "lies". Why else would he even address these things? Sure, one would say it has something to do with his ratings going up, and he's talking about it to let them know that what they're doing is making his life better.
It sounds good, doesn't it?

But I don't see his life getting better. I see his ratings going up..and that's a good thing, but he's getting butchered. And he's falling for every bit of it.

They've got you exactly where they want you. Don't they Keith? They're winning. They may be helping boost those ratings, but just exactly who are those extra people that's watching?

Aside from another attempt to win that fight, Countdown was boring tonight. Thank God for the weekend, huh?

Why Keith, You're Absolutely Right

You're not qualified to do Meet The Press. Now if bonehead would just admit she's not qualified to do on air reporting, freelance or not, then maybe there would be some sort of unified truth here.

I hate to be so crass right now, not that I haven't been before, but I just felt Keith was basically covering an ass that didn't really need to be covered. In other words, if he would stop reading that stupid rag of a paper, regardless of whether or not they are "out to get him" then maybe he wouldn't worry so much about what others think or say about him.
He sounds like the little brother that keeps whining to his mother that sis keeps looking at him.

There are always going to be those who don't like you. And it doesn't matter what kind of standing you have in the community. The bigger you get the more you're going to get bashed. If Keith can't handle it then he needs to get out of the business.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that he felt he was defending Tim Russert but in Keith's case, which is usually the case, it's all about Keith.

Heavy sigh. Has Keith learned absolutely nothing? Countdown is good. His ratings are getting better. Can't he just take that and run with it?

The show was good tonight. And we all know that there are going to be a bunch of idiots out there that will say that Keith and Dana were being mysoginistic tonight. It's a given.

I think if Keith were to just ignore these people, get rid of bonehead and stop being so negative then that would throw almost everyone of his haters for a loop. They wouldn't know what to do. They would have to resort to the old Keith.

Another heavy sigh. But we know that's not going to happen. Why? I've said it before. He's not happy unless he's miserable. Which means, being controversial.

Of Deers and Rainbows and A Final Goodbye

I believe very strongly in final goodbyes. When my Mother passed away we all gathered at my Dad's house after the funeral. While we were all sitting down stairs we saw three deers jump over the fence and into the back yard. One deer came up to the patio doors and stood there for the longest time just watching us. The other two stayed out in the yard. We all sat there quietly and looked at it. Then it just turned around and walked off. It caught up with the other two and all three jumped back over the fence and ran into the woods.
That's all they did.
So I believe my Mother was giving us a final goodbye. Just as I believe that rainbow was Tim Russert's final goodbye.

I'm a rather spiritual person so I believe that the soul of a person, who was loved deeply in life, comes back long enough to soothe the pain of those who are grieving so that the healing process can begin with a sense of peace.

So from Tim Russert it was a rainbow goodbye.

Ooh, That's Not Gonna Be Easy

I don't envy Keith covering Tim Russert's funeral tomorrow. I already know that if I get to see any of it I'm gonna break down. I don't know how he can do it.

I know some people will say that he's coldhearted so it won't bother him. Well, I believe Keith is coldhearted to some degree but I also believe that Tim's death hit him pretty hard. It hit everybody pretty hard. So in that respect..he's no different.

On to happier things. I like Christian Finnegan. He's funny. And Countdown played one of my favorite songs tonight. I love Duran Duran.

Tonight's show was pretty good.

Even The Dog And Cat Knows

Al Gore is a hoot. I'm not particularly fond of listening to his speeches but his 'endorsement of Obama' speech was pretty good.

On to Countdown. Luke Russert is the spitting image of his Dad. What a great guy. I enjoyed that bit of interview they showed tonight. He has a strength I could only imagine having. When they showed the part where he was standing at his father's chair I almost broke down. But then, every time I see a picture of Tim it brings tears to my eyes.
It's gonna take a long time to even believe he's no longer with us. It just doesn't seem real.

I was thankful, though, for the humor on Countdown tonight. It was needed.

One Good Thing/One Not So Good Thing

There's only one good thing I can say at this moment about Keith. He did an excellent job covering the loss of Tim Russert. I'll give him kudos for that. It couldn't have been easy.
But what disturbs me the most is his lack of professionalism in jumping on Kos for support. I understand that he's a member of the group but does Keith really have no true friends to go to in this time of mourning?
Is bonehead or his co-workers not enough? If he had waited till today to address those people and said his thank you's then I wouldn't have thought much about it.
But these are viewers of his.
I'm not saying they don't have the right to express their sorrows or want Keith to comment but Keith couldn't wait to get that from them.
I think it's sad that he can't get the kind of support from his own people that he has to get it from his viewers.
But, maybe Keith is a very lonely guy and has to go somewhere. I'm not knocking it too much anymore. I think he has a lot of baggage that needs to be taken care of. And if this is the route he has to go then so be it.

Like Peter Jennings?

Remember when Peter Jennings passed away from lung cancer and Keith got all psycho chick on everybody about his own cancer scare? And then he thought it would be cool to show everybody his benign tumor? Well, I had the feeling that we weren't going to get through this weekend without something physically being wrong with Keith.

I sat there, with tears in my eyes, watching the reports and listening to the memories about Tim Russert thinking to myself, 'I wonder if Keith is going to take all of this to heart and decide to take better care of himself, or is something going to be wrong with him that will take that spotlight away from the only person in the news business that was true to the world.'
I guess I need not wonder anymore, huh?

I'm not saying it was Keith who chose this moment to have this(RLS) revealed but the timing is curious. I haven't said much about Keith, out of respect for the loss of Tim Russert, but this bothers me in the sense that it always has to come back to Keith.
It always has to be about him.

I believe Keith does feel a sadness for the loss of his colleague but I also believe Keith doesn't mourn the way most adults do. For one thing, he couldn't stay off of Kos. It's one thing to have viewers or bloggers to either say something good or something bad on the internet about Tim Russert's death, but it's a whole other story when the deceased's colleague can't keep his personal feelings at home..or with his peers.
He obviously needs to feel the comfort of his followers. So, basically, this has turned into an "I'm so sorry for your loss Keith" rather than Keith spending his time comforting his colleagues. Especially those who were much closer to Tim than he was.

Also, it really irks me that anybody could think that Keith is the beginning of the way the news is going to be. Um, Lord I hope not. The news needs to go the way Tim Russert did it. Otherwise, it's going to fail.
People will eventually get tired of your opinion and start looking for someone more neutral. Which also means that Keith should be the last choice to do Meet The Press. Not just for that reason but also for the reason that Keith can't do face to face confrontations. You have to be able to let opposing points of view in your world or it's going to remain Countdown.
Keith is Countdown. Not Meet The Press. And he, by no means, is a Tim Russert.
And this world, by God, is not all about Keith.

Goodbye Tim Russert

How sad is it when God chooses to take the good people and leaves us with jerks. Tim Russert was an icon that can never be replaced or duplicated. He was the soul that kept us together through the hard times and the smile that made everything seem okay.
He was the happiest person I have ever had the pleasure of watching and listening to. My heart is deeply broken. And I will miss him dearly.

Keith deserves his time of mourning, but I'm hoping that within this mourning period he will open his eyes and see exactly what he's been doing to himself..and to others.
Never take life for granted. Never take people for granted. And never think you are invincible.
I believe Tim Russert was as real as a person could get.

Goodbye, Tim Russert. And may God hold you in his arms forever.
My deepest and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

You will surely be missed.

Chilling

Okay, I'm a sucker. I had to watch and listen to Keith's special comment tonight. Damn, it was good. Very sobering. It actually brought tears to my eyes. No, not the part where Keith looked like he was gonna cry at the end there. It was the part where he was telling what these soldiers were doing to themselves.
McCain is clueless about these lives and what they mean to us. Hell, he's clueless about anything that comes out of his mouth. I think when he gives a "speech" he should be asked, the next day, what he said the day before. How much you want to bet he won't know?
I'm telling you, what goes out doesn't come back in. All you have to do is watch the idiot and you can see it clearly.

I give Keith kudos for a commentary that was without explosions but yet exploded in a way that will stay with you for a very long time.

Very good.

And on a different note. I bet bonehead never heard of Puss n Boots till she watched the Shrek movies. hehe. 23/24 indeed. Dumb as a suitcase full of rocks.

Helen Mirren Understands More

Oh, Christian Finnegan couldn't have said it any better than he did tonight. 23 year old girls don't understand squat. I think it's kind of cute that Obama and Scarlett Johanssen are e-mailing each other. He's obviously a fan. And I'm pretty sure he's very aware that she doesn't get it. But that crack about Helen Mirren was hilarious. I know exactly what Mr. Finnegan was implying tonight. Too bad Keith isn't smart enough to figure that out for himself.
Or maybe he's getting smart.

So another special comment coming, huh? (heavy sigh) I'm gonna have to read it because watching Keith blow a gasket every time he does these isn't my kind of entertainment anymore.

Countdown was good tonight.

Previous Post

Disregard that previous post. It meant absolutely nothing. I published it when I meant to save it and update it later. I was too tired to do anything about it so I just left it there.

Truthiness

I like that word. But, you know, sometimes 'truthiness' becomes the truth. It may be a gut feeling but quite often gut feelings are right. Unless, of course, you're just a pathological liar. Which in some people's case comes straight from the gut.

Countdown was kind of boring tonight. Although Keith did look like he was straining to be upbeat. Hmmm, I wonder why.

It's Still An Eeeewwww Factor

I thank the commenter who informed me of that address being a business address and not a residential one. However, it doesn't change the eeeewww factor. It raised a question. Just how long has Keith known these people?
If he's known bonehead since she was born that makes things even worse. I'm thinking I read somewhere that Daddy has known Keith for quite a long time. This tells me that he has seen her as a teenager blossoming into "fullness". It also begs the question, just exactly what kinds of thoughts he had about her at the time?

I don't really care about Keith's tax woes. As I stated before, it's the principle of the thing. The more I learn about him and his relationship with this family the more disgusted I become. But not just with Keith. I'm disgusted with her and her family as well.
If a parent finds nothing wrong with this situation then they're just as bad/guilty as he is. If a child finds nothing wrong with having sex with a family friend, then putting those two factors together gives me one word to describe this. Incest. Yes, I know, they're not related so "officially" it's not considered that. But who the hell in their right mind would allow their child, or their "friend", to go to such lengths?
Unless money and career is involved. And then we come full circle, don't we? So as long as Keith's penis is happy then Daddy and daughter get whatever they want.

That's just downright disgusting, isn't it? Normally, I wouldn't keep bringing up Keith's little member of his own private family, but when someone gets on national television and lets thousands of people know he doesn't have a small penis, then it's pretty much open season. Every season.

Nice Vacation

It took several days to get everything moved and hooked up but I decided to take the rest of the week off from the internet. Looks like I didn't miss much.
The only thing I found that I thought was a rather eeeewwww factor was that Keith lived with boneheads' parents for a time. That's just gross. It's not gross that he lived with her parents. It's gross that he knew her when she was under age, and to come back and start banging her 5 years later. This makes Keith really look like a major pervert.
I mean seriously, how fucking desperate do you have to be to think nothing is wrong with that?

There are times I like Keith and there are times I don't. This is one of those times I don't like him. For him to be so intelligent, funny and a very good commentator he really has no brain at all. It's sad that he would let himself stoop that low. It's sad that he won't allow himself the luxury of being a real man.
He may be somewhat rich and somewhat famous but personally he's a loser. Only in the sense that his penis is more important to him than morality.

Aside from all of this personal bullshit Countdown was actually good this week, with the exception of that horrible comedian pretending to be a relationship expert. I do, however, want more BillO's Gone Wild videos. This BillO stuff is getting better and better.

I also sat and watched most of the primary Tuesday. Good stuff.
