KEITH OLBERMANN POOPS A PEACOCK!
My my, isn't he just proud of himself. It's great news that Rachel has her own show. It's bad news that Keith thinks he Superman.
I believe he probably went to bat for her and talked a good talk to get her that job, but ultimately it's the big wigs who makes the decisions. Keith ain't no big wig. If he was he would be making a hell of a lot more money than what he is.
Keith puts himself on a pedestal way too much and his so called "modesty" doesn't work that well. At least not for me anyway.
But, putting aside his EGO, the rapper worst persons thing tonight cracked me up. That was the funniest thing since he and Mo Rocca discussed the variety of farts.

Notice the none-too-subtle way he interjected himself in this Rachel story. He had to take away a bit of the spotlight from her and credit himself for her success. Talk about an ego! And reality check: while her regular appearances on CD raised her profile within the network it was Tucker Carlson who first put her on the air, not Keith.
After Chuck Todd said, "Don't you need a 19th person on Football Night?" Meaning he'd like to give it a try, Keith did not look happy. He tried to brush it off like he thought it was funny, but he was mad.
Like he took it as an insult, rather than humor. Geez....
He doesnn't think he's superman, he thinks he's god.
Donna, you are absolutely right. It was Tucker Carlson that first put her on the air. Apparently that doesn't count in Keith's book.
Marinara, I did notice how Keith kind of brushed Chuck off. I think he's just jealous. Chuck is starting to get a lot of fans and a lot of recognition and this doesn't seem to be boding too well with Keith.
What's wrong with Chuck mentioning it when Keith is basically the one who started that joke anyway?
Anonymous, he does try to present himself as being godlike. But then, I guess kissing all those asses gets you what you want. And if godhood is what he wants then the devil is waiting for him.
Which I suspect he sold his soul.
He has a soul? You're being awfully generous.
Hehe. Okay, he HAD a soul.
What's the expression? Once you can fake sincerity than the rest is a piece of cake? He has that act down pat doens't he?
Absolutely. And some people fall for it every time.
By now it should be evident, from confirmation of one gossip item after another, that he's not the saint his fans believe him to be. Yet they're still taken in by the act. Makes you wonder if they're absent some common-sense gene or something.
I don't disagree but I also try look at it this way. BillO has loyal fans too.
There will always be those out there that find he can do no wrong no matter what. Keith is no exception.
Both of them need a good dose of reality. One so big that they can't weasel their way out of it.
I'm a firm believer that those who do wrong always get their just rewards. Sometimes it takes a long time sometimes it doesn't.
LOL. Yes it is.
