Thank God For Derrick Pitts

I muted the majority of Countdown last night. Sometimes I just get really tired of listening to all the Obama love and the McCain hate. If it wasn't for the politics and BillO Keith wouldn't have anything to talk about.
I've gotten to the point where I won't even listen to his guests anymore, with the exception of those who aren't on there very much. Like Derrick Pitts. Keith actually did something right with this guy.
It was also nice to see Craig Crawford. Haven't seen him in a long time. Though he gets on my nerves a little bit with the way he talks but I kind of like him.

Don't get me wrong, Countdown is a good show. It's the host that makes it hard to stomach at times. Keith is becoming more and more physically unattractive. If he keeps gaining weight he's just going to be downright ugly. But then, that would work more to his advantage considering his attitude is already ugly.

I just get the feeling that, eventually, Keith is going to piss off the wrong person and he's not going to get out of it scar free.

His opening story tonight is a good one, but of course he worked McCain into it. But only a little bit, and only in the context that he and Bush and Cheney were claiming Iraq as the source of the anthrax. He sounds incredulous that this anthrax scientist guy killed himself just as the Feds were closing in, after following the wrong guy around for the last 6 years.

Very convenient, but Keith won't mention any alternate suspects or scenarios. He'll try to get one of his guests to do it, but if they don't, they don't, and that's that.

The headline with LA Times writer said "Anthrax: An Inside Job?" Kind of makes you wonder what else the Bush admin has done that was an inside job. I wonder if Keith meant to do that? Then Posner came on and it changed to Anthrax: The Long Road.

I was glad to see that Keith raised some doubt as to what we've been told about that scientist's fate.

If only the entire show could be this good.

As for Keith's weight, I see that as a sign of unhappiness. Katy's not cooking healthy and nutritious meals for him, and he's not home that much to eat there, anyway. He has steadily put on weight since she moved in, which would be about a year now. He hides himself from the waist down, so we have to wait for an appearance on Letterman or Leno to get a look.

It was very fascinating. And I agree. If only the whole show could be that good.

I'm not so sure bonehead even knows how to cook. If she tries it's probably something like hamburger helper. But your assessment on him not eating healthy is spot on.
People who eat healthy generally don't gain weight like that.
I think, though, he's become extremely lazy as well because she IS there to clean up after him. He doesn't have to do it anymore.
His weight gain and his laziness since she moved in is one of the reasons I say he's a chauvinist.

I'm betting the Malibu Princess wouldn't know a stove from a fridge. I'm also guessing they do a lot of dining out or ordering take out which is why he's probably gained so much weight.
